My Red Said
Talking about Mental Health Matters
Let's discuss our emotions, name our fears and our feelings, and connect as a community.
Write a Message, Show Support
My Red Said is a public awareness campaign designed to encourage conversations about mental health.
With generous financial support by the Northbrook Civic Foundation, CATCH placed My Red Said stations at a number of businesses in the downtown area along with the Northbrook Public Library throughout the month of September, 2021.
Everyone was invited to stop by and write a note of hope, encouragement, or personal struggle on a heart that was then displayed on red ribbons at each location.
We hope the display of hearts provided a starting point to talk about mental health by asking one another: What does your red say?

Red Out Week
September 13-17, 2021
During Red Out Week, we invited everyone to help spread the word about the importance of mental health via social media. You are welcome to continue the effort.
Click on the red image to the left to save it, then share it on your social media, and write a message of hope, inspiration, or your personal struggle.
Let's get the conversation started. Talking about our mental health strengthens it, and let's others know they are not alone in whatever challenges they are facing.
